PMU Aftercare
PMU aftercare is an essential part of the permanent makeup process. It involves taking care of the treated area to ensure proper healing and long-lasting results. By following these guidelines, you can enjoy beautiful and flawless results for years to come.
πTouch the tattoo with your hands as little as possible
β
π Wash the skin around the tattooed area twice a day with a mild, non-scented soap until the tattoo wound is completely healed. The wound itself must remain completely dry for 5 days for optimal results.
β
πDo not use any form of make-up on the wound
β
π After washing, gently pat the tattoo wound dry with a clean towel or tissue
β
π Do not wear plasters or bandages over the tattoo wound
β
πNever wear tight or dirty clothing on the tattoo wound
β
π Avoid contact with water (chlorine pools, hot tubs, natural swimming water) during the 14 day healing process. Also do not use the sauna or steam bath
β
π Do not expose the tattooed area to the sun or tanning bed (not even with UV block)
β
π In case of extreme redness, swelling, bleeding, pus, change in color of the wound or pain, always contact your doctor.

πImmediately after the treatment, the eyebrows may look a bit swollen, but this will disappear within a few hours.
πThe eyebrows appear very dark in color. Don't be alarmed by this, after a week this will decrease by up to 50%.
β
πOver the coming weeks the color will soften and take on a natural appearance.
You should never scrape off any scabs! If you do this, it will be detrimental to the healing process! This removes the pigment from the skin and opens the wound again, which means that less pigment remains in the skin and increases the risk of infections and scar formation.
β
πAbout 45 minutes after the treatment, dab the eyebrows with a tissue to check whether wound fluid comes out of the eyebrow.
If moisture comes out, continue dabbing as long as wound fluid comes out of the eyebrow (this to prevent cost formation).
β
πTry not to let your eyebrows get wet while showering. If they do get wet, pat them dry with a tissue or clean towel, do not rub!
Avoid contact with water for at least the first 48 hours.
πDo not use chemical peels for 6 months.
